I graduated from Bristol University in July 2015 with a First Class BA Honours in Art History. My passion has always been one of a creative nature, which has revealed itself through several aspects of my life. I chose to study the art of others and take a more academic route rather than an art degree, but I have never stopped creating art for myself.

Whilst I studied I took life-drawing classes with the University’s Art Society as well as at Café Kino - a vegan café in an energetic and creatively vibrant area called Stoke’s Croft. I helped with the Spring Opera’s creative team as well as volunteering with the RWA (Royal West of England Academy) and The Bristol Art Club - both of which entailed assisting with art classes for small children and young disabled members of the Bristol community.

A great love of mine is creative writing such as poetry and short stories - more recently this has taken the form of reviews, cultural commentary and journalism. I write for an online culture and travel blog called The Culture Trip, the articles for which are provided via links, as well as my exhibition reviews independently published on my site.

This Summer I worked on three exhibitions. In May I worked as Live Lab Assistant for Magnum Photos' pop-up exhibition which was run as one of many events celebrating the year they turned 70. The second, 'Works From the Studio' was with acclaimed Scottish landscape artist Robert Maclaurin, took place in a West London gallery in June.

The third was 'MIND'Faces in Focus' 2017 exhibition. Faces in Focus is a social enterprise and growing network of photographers. This year the exhibition supported the mental health charity Head Talks and raised awareness not only through photography but through various talks and events circulating the final show. It was a really successful weekend - the tickets are affordable and the events were incredibly stimulating. Following on from this FIF will be curating two new exhibitions in 2018. Themes and supported charities to be announced...
